Graphic Design Project

As part of the RideLocal branding package, I designed this striking icon to serve as the official favicon, mobile app thumbnail, and social media avatar for the rideshare startup.

The stylized “RL” monogram is framed in a dynamic square outline, symbolizing structure and connection — core values of a dependable transportation network. The electric blue color scheme and splatter effects add a modern, high-energy aesthetic, giving the icon a tech-forward, streetwise appeal.

Its bold, simplified shape ensured excellent legibility and recognition at small sizes, whether on mobile home screens or browser tabs. Designed with scalability and digital use in mind, this icon helped establish RideLocal’s visual presence across all platforms, reinforcing its identity as a vibrant, community-based alternative to national rideshare apps.
